Who We Are

Steve is our Vicar, he has been at St Paul's for over 7 years, he is married to Angie and has 2 sons, Samuel and Joel.

Steve responsibilities include leading worship, teaching and preaching. He is passionate about seeing people come to faith, grow in their faith and walking alongside them as they seek to draw closer to God and experience His great love for them. His hobbies are swimming, time with family/children, cycling, reading books (a John Grisham fan), he would love to be able to play the piano but can’t! Has 2 pet chickens. Enjoys cooking and he's a former pastry chef.

Colin has been at St Paul's for 33 years, he is married to Anita and they have 3 grown up children and have just welcomed a new grandchild into the family. Colin is one of our Readers, he is passionate about the word of God and wanting others to know God and His power in their lives. He is also passionate about Justice and has a real heart for the marginalised in society. Colin's hobbies include keeping fit, enjoying the great outdoors, playing guitar, listening to music, reading and much more!

Hugh has been at St Paul's for 17 years, he is a retired anaesthetist, he is married to Vivien and they have 3 grown up children.

Hugh is one of our Readers and he is passionate that his life should reflect the love of Christ himself. His hobbies include Travel, Digital Photography, Family History and French.

Reader: Hugh James

Lou has been at St Paul's for 6 years, she is our full time Youth Worker and she is passionate about helping young people to know their value and worth in God and to share His love and truth within our community and beyond. Her hobbies include playing the guitar and drums, song writing, films and playing sport when she has the time!

Youth Worker: Louise McGoldrick

 

Karen is married to Ant and was licensed as a reader 2 years ago. Alongside her reader role, she is a full time teacher of primary aged childen, which very much keeps her on her toes. Within St Paul's she has a passion for worship, preaching and prayer and wants to see people's faith deepen. Although teaching takes up a lot of time, she enjoys walks with Bryn, her rescue dog, reading knitting and watching cooking competitions.
